With 4 Bedrooms (1 King, 1 Double, 1 Twin and 1 Bunk), 3 Bathrooms (1 ensuite to twin room) and an expansive, well appointed open-plan living/dining/kitchen area, this is the ideal base for your holiday with plenty of space to relax and entertain. With 2 free, on-site car parking spaces you'll be able to come and go stress-free.

Situated in the quiet western side of Aberdyfi and within 5 minutes walk (on the flat) of the village centre with its many amenities, pubs and restaurants. The apartment is within 5 minutes walk of the train station, bus stops and the renowned sandy beach. The acclaimed championship golf course is also within a 5 minute walk.
The apartment has sea views from the king and twin bedrooms with a particularly impressive vista from the King Size room.
The apartment forms part of an unique Edwardian house which was originally built as a gentleman's residence. The apartment was designed with sensitivity to the character and grandeur of the house whilst incorporating modern comforts for guests. Many local touches have been included as part of the decor and all work on the apartment was carried out by local builders and crafts-people.
The owners live in the ground floor of the building and are available to assist you during your stay, whether with any problems or just some local tips and advice.

The apartment is fully self-contained and guests have exclusive access to their own, private courtyard area with benches and table for outdoor dining.
Free parking for 2 cars is provided in the parking area at the front of the house which is shared with the owners and other guests.
The property is on the first and second floors of the building and is accessed via an external staircase (18 steps) to its own private entrance. The property is not suitable for persons with impaired mobility.
The owners live on the ground floor of the property. We are available to assist as much or as little as you need.
Situated on the quiet western side of Aberdyfi close to the post office and store. Across the road from the bowling green, recreation field and train station. The renowned golf course is 5 minutes walk away .
Less than 5 minutes walk on the flat from the beach and village centre. The train station is across the road. Bus stops are within 2 minutes walk. On-site parking for 2 cars.
Please note that the apartment can only accommodate a maximum of 8 guests (inclusive of children and infants) and this maximum is a legal requirement for fire safety. Due to the lower head height under a vaulted ceiling, the top bunk is not suitable for adults and we, therefore, limit groups to a maximum of 7 adults for health and safety reasons.
PLEASE NOTE: Access to the apartment is via an external metal staircase which has 18 steps.
Towels and bedding included.
BBQs are not permitted at the property due to fire regulations.
EV charger for guest use is available in the guest car park. The charger is 7.4kwh and Charger A is allocated to Pencartref. Charging is PAYG at a rate of 50p per KwH plus £2.50 platform charge per session. The payment platform is GuestCharge which is app free via web access. Full instructions are on the Chargers.

Our compact but charming bunk bedroom with views over the mature terraced gardens of Cartref (not accessible to Pencartref guests).Living room (Open Plan)An expansive and stylish living room which is open-plan to the kitchen. The comfortable seating area features two 3-seater sofas, 2 wing-back easy chairs, a large coffee table and occasional tables all focused around the 55" Smart TV. The perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of activities.Kitchen (Open Plan)A well-equipped kitchen which is open-plan to the living room. Including: double oven with hob, washer/dryer, dishwasher, family-sized fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and a barista style coffee machine. There's plenty of crockery, cutlery and utensils with space for food storage too. A dining table with seating for 8 and a breakfast bar for 2 complete the setup. Thank you for not smokingThis is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the full security deposit and my be subject to a fine.
Respect your neighboursPlease be considerate of your neighbours and mindful of noise levels.
Additional rules- Maximum 8 guests with maximum of 7 adults. The top bunk has a lower head height and is not suitable for adults.
- No loud music or parties permitted. The apartment forms part of a larger Guesthouse and all guests are expected to show consideration for other occupants.
- Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the apartment including on the access stairs (which are a designated fire escape).
- The apartment is heated using a smart central heating system which is set to maintain temperatures in line with Welsh Government recommendations. Guests are asked not to attempt to tamper with smart radiator valves or the main thermostat. Each bedroom is controlled via a manual thermostat which can be adjusted by guests.
- Please observe the waste and recycling rules. These are mandated by Gwynedd Council.
