Within 5 mins stroll of the village centre and 3 mins of the sandy beach and golf course. Train and bus are within 3 mins walk. Free on-street parking available.
Entering the property, guests are greeted by the fine Edwardian architecture of the building featuring minton tiled flooring and the original staircase rising to the galleried landing where the rooms are located. Room 1 is a stylish space combining vintage and contemporary furniture with all the comforts of a modern guest house.
Breakfast is not provided. Tea and coffee making facilities are available and guests have access to the common room which has Fridge, Microwave, Kettle, Toaster, Cutlery and Crockery. The village shop at Penrhos is a 2 minute walk away and the centre of the village with its many dining options is a 5 minute walk away.
Guests have access to the entrance hall, inner hall, common room and galleried landing.
The owners live on-site and are Welsh speakers.
Aberdyfi is an unspoilt seaside village at the southern tip of Snowdonia National Park with 4 miles of sandy beach and rolling sand dunes. Renowned as 'Where the mountains meet the sea', Aberdyfi has a wealth of boutique shops and great places to eat and drink.
The Guesthouse is a 3 minute walk from the beach and 5 minute walk to Aberdyfi village centre.
The acclaimed 18-hole golf course is within 5 minutes walk on the flat (making it easy for guests to transport their equipment to the course); the golf course can be seen from the front of the house. Amongst the many other amenities available are the recreation field (for football and other sports) and bowling green which are both across the road from the property.
Cartref Guesthouse is well-served by transport with a bus stop within a stone’s throw of the property and the train station within 3 minutes walk, both offering regular services towards either Machynlleth or Tywyn.
Please note: Accommodation is provided on a room-only basis without breakfast or meals.
Please do not park your vehicle on-site except by prior arrangement with the owners. Free parking is possible on the road outside, close-by on Station Road or a short walk away on the green. Paid parking is available at the Neuadd Car Park.
